Celebrated on 8 March, International Women's Day (IWD) is the global day connecting all women around the world and inspiring them to achieve their full potential. IWD celebrates the collective power of women past, present and future. Commemorating International Women’s Health Day, Belhoul European and Belhoul Speciality Hospital celebrated International Women’s Week from March 02-08 by hospital staff, patients and the community at large. The two hospitals conducted various health check-ups during this period.M
This occasion marked the progress of women in her strives for better health. IWD encourages women to develop themselves in the use of their skills and talents. Eating healthy and talking about food habits of the family is very important. As mothers of the nation, women have a duty to socialize the children well into upright adults and to assist for a healthy world.
IWD enlightens the role of an extra special woman as a professional, mother and wife. Working women need not neglect themselves and should take care of their personal health. Always “in good health” should be your first priority.
The aim of the program was to provide moral support, motivate and renew the value and role of women in the civil society and corporate world which is part of development.

The blood donation program held by |Belhoul Speciality Hospital (BSH) & Belhoul European Hospital (BEH) in association with Latifa Hospital on 26th Jan 2014 at BSH and on 27th Jan 2014 at BEH was a huge success. A large number of donors came forward from our Belhoul hospital family and the neighboring areas, who contributed towards the victory of the compassionate cause. We had more than 90 donors donating their blood which is a critical life-saving resource.

On the event of Father’s Day, Belhoul Hospitals organized a health checkup campaign at the SuperDad 2013 competition at Oasis Center, Sheikh Zayed Road. Dubai’s SuperDad was held to identify and award fathers by giving them unique opportunities to showcase their talents. The event was held to celebrate the joys and responsibilities that come with parenting and also to stress the importance of a healthy family through periodic health checkups. Over 250 parents got their Blood Pressure and BMI checked which enabled them to educate themselves on adopting a healthy lifestyle.
Belhoul European Hospital conducted a free health checkup campaign on the 22 facility in Satwa to mark the World Hypertension Day. The World Hypertension Day has been earmarked to highlight the preventable stroke, heart and kidney diseases caused by high blood pressure and to communicate to the public information on prevention, detection and treatment. Over 100 people benefited from the health awareness campaign which highlighted the importance of regular checkups while stressing on the ever growing importance of adopting an active and healthy lifestyle. The free health checkup included an assessment of blood sugar, blood pressure, and BMI. The event was supported by the team at NeoBiocon.
Belhoul European Hospital celebrated the World Health Day on the 7th of April 2013. Patients availed a free blood sugar, blood pressure, and BMI check up at its premises. The patients availing the health checkup were educated on the importance of a healthy diet and were advised to incorporate fundamental changes to their lifestyles and eating habits which would enable them to improve their health and well being in the long term. Regular health checkups help rule out the risk of hidden illnesses. 66 patients benefited from the health awareness campaign which was held in collaboration with the team at Eli Lilly and Company.
Santa paid a surprise visit to Belhoul European Hospital to spread the love and joy among children during the festive season. Children and parents alike were absolutely delighted when they first heard the joyous ‘Ho! Ho! Ho!’ in the hallways of the hospital. The kids at the clinic could not contain their excitement as they gathered round Santa to receive their presents for being well-behaved throughout the year.

Arsenal FC and French international football player Bacary Sagna visited Belhoul European Hospital for physiotherapy and rehabilitation to get back to peak performance on the pitch just in time for the Premier League in August. Sagna tweeted, “Hello, I’m just out of treatments from "Belhoul European hospital" in Dubaï. Huge thanks to you all." Despite being ruled out of the Euro 2012 with a broken leg, he has managed to maintain focus and hopes to return stronger from his injury. Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM) is an annual international health campaign organized worldwide every October to increase the awareness, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure of Breast Cancer. Prevention is always better than cure and early detection will help in better and easy cure of the killer disease.
The event commenced on 15th October 2011 with an offer of 30% off till 31st Oct on mammography, Ultra sound & Sp Gynac Consultation, wherein the people can take this opportunity to lead a healthy and safe life. More than fifty women did the screening and headed towards our call for a “breast cancer – free” society in the UAE.
The Radiology department in our Hospital is pleased to say that the number of inquiries and actual mammograms conducted during the camp has increased subsequently as compared to the previous years. This is brought about by the growing awareness of its importance to beat the disease. It has become necessary for al women of certain age.
The campaign was a success and we owe to spread the message of early detection and save lives in this process.

Each submission for the DQA was reviewed by assessors according to procedures laid down by the Business Excellence Centre at DED that are modelled on the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) excellence.
After the entries were reviewed, a panel of jury members interviewed the teams that assess the applicant companies to select potential winners.

World Health Organization is encouraging communities everywhere to join the World Blood Donor Day campaign on 14th June every year. It is an opportunity to express gratitude to those who donate their blood in order to save lives, without expecting anything in return.
Belhoul European Hospital organized the Blood donation campaign at its premises in Satwa on 19th June 2011 from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm to commemorate the World Blood Donor Day to raise the awareness of the need for safe blood and to thank the voluntaries for their life-saving gifts of blood. The theme for the World Blood Donor Day 2011 is, "More blood More life". This theme reinforces the urgent need for more people all over the world to become life-savers by volunteering to donate blood regularly.
A blood donation camp cum awareness program was organized on 14th & 15th of June 2010 at Belhoul Speciality &Belhoul European hospital respectively as a part of the World Blood Donor Day to serve the general public.
It was a part of the continuous process. The program was conducted from 9.00 am till 2.00 pm on 14th & 15th with the collaboration of the medical staffs from the Blood Transfusion and Research Services, Sharjah (MOH). Belhoul Hospitals, Dubai has been successfully organizing blood donation camps with active support from the staff and public volunteers. ,/
More than 80 donors donated blood which was organized as a gesture of warmth towards the community. Refreshments were served to the donors after the donation.

World Diabetes day is universally celebrated every year on November 14th. It offers millions of people worldwide diabetes awareness. In response to the growing concerns about the increasing health problems that diabetes now poses, Diabetes education & prevention is the best way to beat the threat.
The campaign aided in identifying many diabetes patients and helped them in giving proper guidance with the support of the medical experts.
